The speaker for the February 2, 2016 meeting will be John Weagle.


John gardens in Halifax, Nova Scotia. John is the recipient of the Leslie Hancock Award and the Hybridizer's Award of the Rhododendron Society of Canada. He is a well known plantsman and has spoken across Canada, the USA, and at the International Symposium in Bergen, Norway. There are four named varieties that John has introduced from his hybridization efforts.
 
NEXT Tuesday, February 2nd, 2016... Join us at the State of Connecticut Agricultural Experiment Station @ 153 Cook Hill Road, Windsor, Connecticut.

John gave a great presentation yesterday at the Massachusetts Chapter of the American Rhododendron Society. Everyone enjoyed the presentation very much.
