I don't know what is really N. pachybolbus... every time I have a bulb of it or every time I see a picture of It what I see is just a Narcissus papyraceus. Narcissus pachybolbus must have an eliptic or round section in the scape, not "acipitada" like N. papyraceus. This is why in Flora Iberica they have synonymized N. tortifolius as N. pachybolbus, the plant described by Durieu in Orán, Argelia seems to be the same as N. tortifolius.

Drawing from Rafa ...  " scape section elliptic in Pachybolbus and ancipital in Papyraceus"

I know it isn't the first but N. romieuxii  JCA collection is flowering in a very dull Bury. It certainly brightened up our day.

Is your albicans also a selected form, Anne? Looks a handicraft by its finely chiselled flower!
And both yellows are lovely, too :)
