Some nice stuff as usual, Graham!
That micro mini would probably cause a riot at the next Canberra Show ;D
Here's the first flowering of a cross I made with Rod's "Jingle x Swagger" dabbed with N. cyclamineus pollen, though it doesn't reflex very much. Sown in 2011,
cheers

Fermi the micro miniature has been used on our Div 11W-Y that is flowering at the moment. Should cut it down to miniature I hope!
It is hard to keep the micro minis in the refrigerator for too long. Not enough substance and texture.
The thing about something that is that small is that you can really only see the imperfections by taking a photo and looking at it on a screen. Very hard to pick up faults, particularly  if the judge does not have the best of eyesight. In fact the mini micro is so small that a judge with poor eyesight may not see it at all!
You cross shows how dominant the N. cyclamineus yellow is. You need to backcross with something white like Swagger or one of our seedlings. Our seedlings are cousins of Swagger so it is a sensible cross to make.
Something special in this lot of photos - a micro mini 1Y-YYP.
Leslie, I have not forgotten you love of split cups. Maybe it should be named Lesley's Delight!!

"-a-few-pots-on-the-pollinating-table"   My word, that one in the front centre is a real  tiny, isn't it?   A little cracker!

Hi
Maggie, you are right, it is a cracker but it is not the smallest flower on the table. The flowers you describe as a cracker is our preferred form of N. asturiensis var. vasconicus that has an overlapping perianth. Perfect for miniaturizing. The best thing about it is that is grows outside the shade house in our dry paddock so it is very hardy.
It is about the same size as our new micro mini 1Y-YYP.
Look at the pot behind. It is the truly tiny flower and it is not yellow. It is a flower that is half the size of the N. asturiensis var. vasconicus.

Hi
Maggie, it is only the beginning of the season. There is still another 8 weeks of daffodils to go. Lots more to see yet. Even in relation to what I have posted is just a tip of the iceberg. There are some very good miniatures flowering that I have not taken photos of yet or have not edited photos of others.
K34/95 is a really good seedling. The number means it is 20 years old this year and still going strong. It is a hardy N. cyclamineus lookalike that is much hardier than the species.
In terms of alpine garden beds, the small intermediate 6W-Y is probably one of the best if you want something other than yellow.

Some interesting things flowering at the moment. The intermediates in the photos are on miniature stems so they would not be out of place in pots or the rock garden. The huge bulbocodium is the same size as the small intermediates. We have got the standards down to miniature height now all I have to do is cut another 15 mm off the flower size!
In fact we have quite a few intermediates out at the moment that are dwarf, including W-W Y-R and W-Y. The white pink is in the front of a flower bed and that is where it belongs.

Here is a daff we got ages ago from Glenbrook as Narcissus hispanicus; however there were 2 small bulbs and I got 2 different types of flowers! I divided the clump last year and I think that this is all one of the types. But is it Narcissus hispanicus?
cheers

Fermi
I have attached a photo of our N. hispanicus. It looks to have thinner petals than yours but yours might be a better clone than ours! :o
We have new ferals in the shade house - galanthus.
