judging -two teames of three is the usual system briefed by  the show secretary who is also   available to deal with any queries. Some find it hard to leave the Jaffa cakes; all were soon eaten. The show secretary and assistant total points, write   certificates  and organise  the trophies,

as the show opens to the public the club plant stall is soon attracting  purchasers as do the nurseries-these events allow people to buy plants not available in most garden centres

The catering team at the Glasgow show is rightly  famous for their delicious eats  so deserve a section all to themselves.

Merriment as Peter calculates  that as his last  best in show was  30 years ago  he will  need to keep showing  until aged 180 to catch up with Cyril's  tally of Forrest medals

within  half an hour the exhibitors have put their plants back into their vehicles and local group members have nearly cleared the hall

Thank you Stan, yet again you show a brilliant series of pictures giving  those not able attend a real impression of the day with plants, people, and cakes.
