Benington Lordship Garden open 28th -29th June

Some of you may have thought that after snowdrop season Richard Webb  just rests easy - not so -   Visit the gardens at Benington Lordship this weekend to see what keeps him busy!

Floral Festival & National Garden Scheme opening

This event is held in conjunction with St. Peter's Church, Benington and the National Gardens Scheme and all the proceeds from the weekend are donated to these two organisations.

Every year the Church is decorated with floral art on a chosen theme, the theme for 2014 is "Poetry" and many of the gardens around the church and village green are also open to the public. There are stalls selling plants, crafts and books, and refreshments are available in the parish hall.

    Opening times 2014: Sat 28th & sun 29th June, 12-6pm.
    Prices: Adults £5. Children: Under 16's £2. Children: Under 12's Free.

And make a date for the Chilli Festival in August! Benington Chilli Festival is on Sunday 24th & Monday 25th August, 10-5pm both days.
Admission is; Adults £7.50. Children: Under 16's £2.50, Under 12's Free
Free parking - follow signs from the village of Benington, 4 miles east of Stevenage.

Thanks for the plug!

It does all look great at the moment, everything seems to be flowering bigger and better this year, wish the grass would stop growing overnight.....

Chipping snowdrops today, can't get away from them  8)
