Florists Ranunculus
« on: June 23, 2014, 08:41:40 PM »
I now they cost only a couple of £ and are treated as throw away plants but I would like to keep my now dormant tuber until next year. How do I store it and when do I water it?

I bought some this year and they have grown well but not flowered.   I grew some from seed when I was working.  I kept them dry in the pots all summer then repotted them and started watering about November.  It may be better to soak them before potting.  I do the same with my Ranunculus asiaticus which I've had for a very long time.
