One seed, two bulblets
« on: April 03, 2014, 03:46:06 PM »
Few days ago, digging up my seedling of Hymenocallis harrisiana, I've got a surprise  : I had many more bulblets than i sew seeds and found this seed with two bulblets. Is it common ?

This is not all that rare in Hymenocallis and in Crinum -- one seed with two or even three embryos.
