Dr Evelyn Stevens has been honoured at the recent AGM of the Alpine Garden Society with the
Clarence Elliott Memorial Award  for her article for the bulletin   'Sorting out the big blue poppies'

Congratulations to Evelyn, for this award.
In the AGS web report of the awards made at the AGM you will see that many prominent SRGC members are among those being honoured - congratulations to them and to all those receiving awards.

Indeed Stan, these forumists- all very clever growers - are some of the most successful in the competiton :
Paul Ranson
Kirsten Andersen
Kris De Raeymaeker
Roma Fiddes
Ken Curtis
Graham Catlow
Hilary Birks
Eberhard Proessdorf
Fermi de Sousa
Rudolf Weiss
Peter Clarke
Luc Scheldeman
Graham Nicholls
Peter Hood
Sven-Eric Nygren
they have all made a huge contribution to the competition and have been rewarded by lots and  lots of prize stickers !
There are quite a few other SRGC  members among the entrants too - an excellent representation  to cheer the winter season!
