Fermi has been concerned that Leslie has not been getting to see many split cups this year so it is time for a few split cup photos.
Fermi came to Canberra for the Centenary of Canberra Spring Bulb and Camellia Show and visited Keira Bulbs daffodil paddock yesterday.

I don't think any of our guests noticed the CCTV cameras at all but it did not matter because they were all extremely well behaved. Fermi quite liked the Champion miniature so he will be saving up now.

;D ;D No, I quite believe their eyes will have been firmly on the flowers!
If they were all well behaved, there  must have been enough cake to go round as well, eh? ;)

The average SRGC type is always sociable in the presence of  sufficient cake.....

Hi
Maggie the Horticultural Society probably fed him up as they were looking after the visitors. They usually put on a good spread for visitors.
A few photos of some colourful identities.

Anne
If I don't say whose entry it is then it is usually Keira Bulbs entry. We are very good at breeding top quality exhibition reverse bicolor miniature Div 6's. It would have been a tough decision as our miniature Div 5 was very good as well. Personally I preferred our miniature tazetta. Bob Spotts from California who was on the judging panel also liked it. He also liked our new Div 3 miniature but the other panel members did not like it.
There are two miniature daffodil hybridists in Canberra-Keira Bulbs and Lawrence Trevanion. The other competitor and hybridiser of note in the miniatures was Kevin and Mary Crowe from Hobart in Tasmania who were visiting Canberra for the Show.

All three of the Crowes' entry are very nice as well. What a very good miniatures scene you have going over there.

Hi
Lawrence and I are both well known breeders of miniatures and the Crowes are well known in Tasmania. There are several more noted growers of miniatures in Tasmania-Rod Barwick of Glenbrook Bulb Farm and Mike Temple-Smith.
A few more late flowering seedlings for you and one from Rod Barwick. The new miniature 7W-P is something else but then again so are some of the other seedlings.

I'm wondering if Fermi's hat shouldn't be blue?  ;)
