Lesley, I guess that would be Hawera as in Narcissus 'Hawera', which I think was raised in NZ; I now assume by a breeder who lives or lived in or near Hawera?
Hawera was bred in the place I live: Noordwijkerhout NL, by a bulbgrower, who called it after the place in NZ
where his wife was born.

I wish all of you Merry Christmas from Holland!Love those nice cards sent to the Forum, and not to forget the great humor of many Forumists. :-* :-*

Brian,

Thank you SO much for NOT posting that link a month ago..... that would have been so depressing, whereas now it is sort of exciting!!  Does that mean that they'll set up a new site straight after Christmas, counting down to NEXT Christmas?  ::) ;D
Cheers.

Not for me, it's not! Showing five days, ten hours etc. at 13.09hrs on the 19th December... that's correct, isn't it? Mark, you need more mince pies to keep your strength up!

Whoops, any day is Christmas Day if you celebrate it after all it should be January sometime (I think) if we believe the ancient historians!  It was a link sent to me a month ago Paul!  I have kept it in my inbox and just looked at it so posted it to entertain you ::)

Yes tis a day out sort of, but then it probably came from last year or something originally, I just can't cope with the excitement :-\

And I think we all need more mince pies to keep our strength up, bring em on!

I do not believe I've got this wrong, re  the countdown..... today in Aberdeen it is the 19th december, time now 13.45pm... countdown link is showing 5 days, ten hours, sixteen minutes to Christmas... so, 20th = 1 day.. 21st = 2days... 22nd = 3 days, 23rd =4 days ...24 = 5 days  plus odd hours to get from 24th at 13.45 to just past midnight.... and there we are... Christmas.... 8)
