ID for yellow Iris(?)

Someone kind gave me this statuesque yellow iris (?) which flowered for the first time this year. I apologise to whoever the donor was for not logging it into my records. Can someone give it a name please?

Wow, and it is happy  in a Yorkshire garden? I'm impressed.  Lovely plant- which I believe has a nice scent ?

Moraea huttonii grows or used to grow in the Cruickshank garden in Aberdeen.  It was grown from seed as Iris kerneriana.  It is quite hardy and used to self seed.  The leaves can get very long and cover its neighbours.  I don't remember it being scented.

Thanks for that info Roma. I don't recall seeing it there - but that's no surprise to me - I'm not there often enough. :-[

I really like the flower markings.

It took 5 minutes for an answer!! Thanks all. Yes the leaves are very long, it's a bit big for where I planted it. I wonder who gave it to me.

I don't have M. huttonii but am trying to remember how M spathacea (syn spathulata) differed. It is another tallish yellow and quite hardy here.
