Wow Luc, this is early! Went in the garden with my maglite to check my plants of this species (what differences exist between species and ssp.micrantha?), but nothing to see.
My neighbours may think this crazy guy is looking for snails again which are not out because of the drought - still not learning after all the years he lives here...  :P ;D
var. micrantha is in fact a form with shorter leaves than the Spanish plants but with more or less the same size of flowers. And the plant comes from the other side of the Mediterranean.
This variety is now included in iris planifolia I think.

My plants with Spanish roots are only 4 cm high at the moment. Strange why this one is so early.

Here some leaves on this juno already .....Normally this should be  narbutii , isn't it to early ?
