It has been said many times on this forum, wouldn't it be wonderful if we could smell the flowers from the images posted here. Well hurray for the new Google Nose feature; http://www.google.co.uk/intl/en-GB/landing/nose/

Sadly I think this will be available for this morning only....

Am happy as Lewisia brachycalyx and Meconopsis napaulensis have both germinated - second lots of Meconopsis this year after having failed year after year.  Not sure what to do with them now but at least they germinated

A flower among the flowers, Luc - what could be more lovely or more worthy of happiness?

Made me smile and forget that I was up at 6 this morning to take my two to hockey training- in the school holidays, for goodness sake! ::)

Up again at 6 on the hockey run, then off to Bethlehem by 8.30. Two and a half hours on the road and what better than to listen to Monteverdi's Vespers of 1610. I'd listened to the first disc twice by the time I got to Katikati, then onto disc two for the Ave Maris Stella and Magnificat and it was there by 11. Chat and lunch with two lovely people, Bill and Willi Dijk, with a tour of the nursery. A great day, and I came a way with a load of goodies.
