You are welcome.

A little tip...the sunnier you position it, the more the red colour comes out.

Flowers and Foliage Now / Re: March in the Northern Hemisphere

however once the process is started each season brings something new to watch and evaluate. Eventually, each morning throughout the year brings something new to see in the garden. For me this is also a gardening success and a very satisfying creative process.

You are so right about that! Sowing seeds every year and then there is always something to look forward.

Very nice front border with tulips, so natural looking. :)

A few more from last week:
1) Cyclamen mirabile ex 'Tilebarn Nichlas' from AGS Seedex many years ago
2) xAmarine - appearing to be a cross between Amaryllis belladonna and Nerine bowdenii - like a nerine on steroids!
3 & 4) Aster (Symphotrichum) "Purple Prince'
cheers

Most people accept that 'Lady Fairhaven' is a seasonal variation on 'Ailwyn'; a minority will adamantly claim that they are different.  You can form you own opinion now, Leena

I will have to plant them close to each other in the future. Now they grow in different parts of the garden, and 'Ailwyn' isn't up yet.

We got some more snow, and cold nights continue, but when days are +2C, the snow slowly melts and snowdrops push through snow. :)
Days have been cloudy, no sun.

Thank you Marc and Gabriela.

I think Boyar differs from having more flowers/stem and more densely packed than Borodino. The way you showed them both, I could tell which one is which :)

You are right how the flowers differ. 'Boyar' is sterile, but 'Borodino' seeds come true, or close to it.

Gabriela, very nice different colours, and early. :)

Skyline Strain
This is a plant that has light and dark flowers at the same time. Next year it will be different again. At the bottom right is the blue line that led to the name Skyline.

This is a very beautiful strain, I love the colour and how there are different shades at the same time. :)
