Title: Help with Gladiolus
Post by: jes on February 20, 2012, 08:58:04 AM
Hi
I'm looking for some help around the gladiolus.
For the first time I tried to put seeds in moist paper towels - in the fridge and I see today that everything is germinate (g.ochroleusus, g.uysia, g.ecklonii, g.longicollis and g.hyalinus)
And what do I do now?
I have had them in the ground, but how deep do I put them (in the same way as if I had planted them in soil from beginning?
And how should I store them after? they must be hot or cold (about temperature of?)

 smile
 Jes

Gladiolus in the ground in Denmark? Longicollis and ecklonii must be sown in spring and belong to the warm season growers. The others have a winter growing cycle.
