I have seeds of this Trillium if anyone would like some. I dont grow it as it's too big. I collected the seeds in Margaret Glynn's garden. I'm sure someone can add the name of the plant

Mark...such a tease..."too big!" Too big indeed. From the looks of it it's worth it whatever the size. I know space is important in your garden, but there must be plenty of takers for such a splendid woodlander.

Could I have some Mark please? You have my address or I'll send it if not. It looks like T. erectum albiflorum but maybe not.

The flowers are big and the seed capsule is equally big about the size of a very large cherry. they are shape of an onion topped church. I dont know the religion. I'll wash the goo off this morning
I have a photo of the whole plant but cant find it. The height is possibly to the knee

Could it be T. similie?
-
It could be an upright albino form of vasyeii or
An upright form of flexipes with tinted ovary and stamens or
A form of simile with unusually thick petals or
An albino form of erectum.
Most likely it is a hybrid of sorts.
Personally I believe (and I am not alone) that the species status of these species is doubtful.
I think that most of the plants we have in the erectum complex are hybrids or misnamed or both.
It is quite a beautiful one anyway.
