Franz, I always like to see your meadow it is beautiful.

Franz' wonderful bulb meadow was , of course, mentioned in IRG 14
http://www.srgc.org.uk/logs/logdir/2011Feb241298591020IRG14_Feb_2011.pdf .... and I hope that those who have only come to know Franz via IRG will find these photos of the arrival of Spring in his meadow as inspriring as many Forumists have.
Franz, I always feel that it truly is spring when your meadow bursts into flower.
Interesting to see how well things are looking after, as you say, a long winter with not much snow cover. One would have thought there would have been more casualties but the meadow looks as good as ever. Do you think there have been many deaths or have you been lucky?

Magnificent Franz ... as always. Kindest regards to you sir!

Thank you all together for the kind comments.
The bulbs in the meadow survived the frost to my astonishment well. I have larger damage with the cushion plants in the rock garden and the troughs.

The first flower in the meadow is past, but still some interesting plants flower.
