Beautiful Narcissus Kahlid. Welcome to the forum!
-
Oooops! Mark, thank you. I've done smaller photos.

When I looked back again and saw small photos I thought it was my connection that was slow

Welcome Khalid, lovely pictures.

Welcome Khalid,
I've just had a quick look through your sempervivum blog. It's very interesting. I will go back for a longer browse when I have more time.
Hope you post some semps in the Sempervivum thread here.

Greetings Khalid, it is good to have you join us here.
What wonderful flowers you show us..... perfect to see such fine plants in nature as those Narcisssus assoanus... magnificent plants.
-
Welcome Khalid & many thanks for the beautiful photos. Could this be N. assoanus var. praelongus?

Hello
Thanks to all!!!
GERRY
Your question is difficult for me. I have no idea. Do you know the Spanish distribution area for praelongus?
Thank you.

Hello Maggi
I hope (when I have more time) participate in the Sempervivum forum. It's very interesting!!!

Gerry, this species is no longer valid. In fact Flora Iberica (from Real Jardín Botánico de Madrid) is making a taxonomical revison from this genus and I amfraid most of the members who loves Narcissus genus will be in panic when you will see ALL descriptions of N. fernandesii/N.assoanus in just one species Narcissus assoanus Dufour ex Schult. & Schult. or ALL bulbocodium relatives in N. bulbocodium L.
Definitively I don't support this classification....

Hello Khalid, beautiful clumps of N. assoanus!
I see from your signature block that you're also a fan of Sempervivum and Jovibarba, be sure to check out the Semp & Jov thread on SRGC.

Wonderful Narcissus, Khalid - so many flowers!

Great pics Khalid. Thanks for showing us.
Is there a lot of variability of assoanus in the wild? Those in your pics have a much larger cup than mine do and I'm interested just how much difference there are in localities in the wild? In the last pic, are both the clumps assoanus, and is the size difference really as pronounced as it looks in the picture?
Thanks again for the pics. :)

Hello Paul
Thanks for your comments. Narcissus assoanus is extremely variable in nature. The pics shows real aspects.
Best regards.

Khalid
The information I have on the distribution of N. assoanus var. praelongus is: southern Spain, Serrania de Ronda & “around Cabra.”
Rafa
Many thanks for the information. Yet another upheaval in Narcissus taxonomy!
-
I would like to request a favor to all of you, please don't share in open forum localities or any information about places, only general distribution as Gerry did. We never know who are reading in internet our coments....
Recently we have notice extractions of bulbs from the most endangered species in Spain.
thank you

Wonderful to see narcissus in their natural environment Khalid thanks for posting.
