Title: Hessea
Post by: Alberto on October 15, 2008, 02:24:07 PM
Hi all,
emerging with the leaves are the flowering stalks of Hessea stellaris. This genus is endemic to South Africa, mostly in the winter-rainfall region. In the photo is not so clear, but the tepals are suffused with pink.
