Title: Chamaecereus luisramirezii –who knows it ?
Post by: Hans J on July 23, 2022, 08:41:08 AM
Hi Cacti fans ,

Who here knows this relatively newly described cactus species?

http://www.incact.cz/index.php/2019/cerven-2019-207/82-chamaecereus-luisramirezii-lode-carlier-spec-nov

Luckily I received both clones from a cactus friend last year:
coll.Hirschmann ( Arg)
coll.Ramirez ( Bol )

I am writing fortunately because my friend passed away unexpectedly a few weeks ago... without his help I would not have been able to get hold of these plants

Both of my plants flowered this year (unfortunately I forgot to take pictures) but I pollinated the flowers and have now harvested some seeds... PM me if interested - I'm happy to trade for other interesting plants/seeds

I have more pictures from other sources...but I don't want to post it here for legal reasons

Have fun
Hans
