Post by: Ali A.Taleb on December 21, 2021, 12:00:16 PM
Hello , im Ali Taleb ,I live in Akkar, Lebanon. Several years ago, I started working to protect nature and endangered and wild species within our work under the name Akkar Trail, and we had many new discoveries in Lebanon, including Iris basaltica, which was considered extinct 20 years ago until I discovered it.  Again, I worked to protect its sites scattered in Akkar, and with the help of a friend I was able to buy and protect a site, and at the same time I planted seeds to be able to protect this species well.  I would like to share with you some pictures of the daughters of Iris basaltica seeds. We have many other works and projects aimed at protecting rare plants.  You can contact me for any information or project support.
