SRGC Annual General Meeting
Saturday 6 November 2021 (10am GMT)
Our 2021 AGM will again be held online this year.
Minutes and details of the business are available in the July 2021 Dryas newsletter available to all members and on the AGM webpage.....https://www.srgc.net/add-event-211106-AGM-2021.asp
-
I think you need to change the date on the headline Maggi, it says October …
-
Oops ! I changed the post but forgot the title! Thanks!
-
Can I point out that the SRGC AGM will be on Zoom at 10am GMT rather than BST as originally noted in Maggi's original post, as the clocks changed back to GMT last weekend.
I am looking forward to seeing everyone's faces again on Saturday - I shall be opening the meeting early so folks can have a good blether (the Scots word for "chat"!) before the official business starts.
The Zoom link will be posted on the website page on Friday morning (UK time) - on the page link given in Maggi's original post.
Please make the effort to be there - see you all on Saturday....
-
Richard, will we be able to look at the meeting at a later date? The BSBI have a zoom meeting on Saturday.
-
We may well record this, Ian, if it is available them I shall let you know.
The AGM Zoom links and papers are now on the SRGC website www.srgc.net (http://www.srgc.net) under Shows & Events | Club Events | 2021 AGM.
Please check out our new website if you haven't previously seen it.
If you cannot remember your winter 2019 seed password, then just request a password reset email.
The passwords of E-members have NOT been brought across, sorry this was not possible due to security considerations.
E-members should therefore request a reset email and set a new one, or change back to their original password if they like.

Some cvs of Saxifraga fortunei, most from Japan. My collection has just been boosted with some nice plants from Edrom to replace those lost to vine weevil. I'm following the nursery's advice to treat them regularly wth nematodes as vine weevil love these plants.

Well done Stan! Another terrific effort to keep the Show Fires burning in this time of pandemic with your pictures of plants that you would have preferred to take to be enjoyed in a display at a face-to-face Annual General Meeting! You've done us proud all through this lockdown and covid-ridden period. I know, as a former Show Secretary, just how valuable your entries contribute to the success of the "real" shows - and it is utterly selfless of you to have done so much work on these virtual shows as we have come to enjoy both from your Show Reports in this forum and your virtual show entries. We owe you a debt of gratitude for sure. I hope to meet you again soon and buy you a celebratory cake - or two!

Hear, hear! Thanks Stan for your "Show Plants"!
It was a great thrill to attend the AGM (how often do you hear that!) and to see so many friends from SRGC.
Glad it went well and really appreciated the "chat" at the end of the meeting.
I had to decline Anton's offer of nominating for Council, though!
cheers
