1) Summer is not usually a great time for flowers in our garden but a regular summer "bulb" here is Eucomis autumnalis.
2) We had around 2in of rain last weekend so the rainlilies have responded! Habranthus martinezii x robustus is a hybrid we re-created a few years ago.
3) Habranthus martinezii always responds well to rain.
4) Acis autumnalis - the first "autumn" snowflake!
5) Sisyrinchium palmifolium still a singleton but the clump is getting bigger!

A nice late summer selection Fermi 8)
Here your Narcissus nivalis (ex Rafa) is almost over for another year & dependably sets a little seed.
By contrast, I have to watch Sisyrinchium palmifolium carefully because it seeds like crazy & could become weedy.

glad to know that my accidental gift is still going well with you!
I recall your warning about the Sisyrinchium but perhaps because it is a single plant it has not produced any seed that I can find

Hi Ashley,
from the seed you sent me I grew a few bulbs to flowering size and so I decided to unpot them to take a pic.
I was surprised to see that they were already in growth despite being stored dry over the summer
