Title: seeds of Strumaria undulata (done)
Post by: Hans J on August 28, 2020, 12:38:29 PM
Is here  maybe anybody interested for some Strumaria seeds ?

Here has flowered before few weeks my Strumaria undulata …this is a strange plant …
I have it received before many years from a botanical garden under the name S.undulata ….but this name I could not find it anywhere .
It is a big plant with very hairy leaves ( and it is flowering very shy )
A friend told me it could be a S.aestivalis but I doubt ( my other S.aestivalis looks really different )
In year 2018 I could make some pics …but only flowers …no leaves

If anybody is interested please send me a PM

Best wishes
Hans

Sorry ...all seeds are gone

I agree that this is  not  S. aestivalis -   we  can see  good  photos  of that here from Jon Evans - http://archive.alpinegardensociety.net/diaries/photographer/Summer%20Bulbs%20July%20to%20Sept%20/20937/
and  also he  says  it  flowers  a  lot- and  quickly  from seed!
