Narcissus romieuxii JCA 805, spring is in the air ;D
-
Lovely upward facing one, Yann ;)
-
Hoop petticoat season has just arrived here at my house :)
A newly flowering seedling, bred by me, looks like a flat disk rather than a hoop petticoat, though ::)

A potful Narcissus ‘Craigton Chorister’ is almost in full bloom now (pic.1 & 2).
And a descendant of N. ‘Craigton Chorister’ opens its first flowers same time (pic.3 & 4).
Narcissus (N. bulbocodium var. tenuifolius x N. romieuxii subsp. albidus var. zaianicus) x N. ‘Craigton Chorister’
Comparison of N. ‘Craigton Chorister’ (in the left) and the descendant (in the middle and right) (pic.5).

'Craigton Chorister' is singing you a fine chorus for the coming year, Tatsuo! Only one flower out here so far.
-
What a great potful of Craigton Chorister, our first flower has only just opened.
-
'N. "Craigton Choristor" is a beauty, Tatsuo !! :o :o :o And grown in a way we can only dream of ! Superb!
Here another from the worldfamous ;D street in Aberdeen....
Narcissus 'Craigton Clanger' doing very well despite the heavy rains of the last few weeks.
-
How exciting it is for us to see these "babies" doing well for our friends!
-
Maggi and Ian,
Thank you for sharing the "world famous" Craigton Road Series Daffodils for us.
‘Craigton Chorister’ usually opens its flowers in mid December at here.
Looks 2 weeks later than the usual flowering time this year.
Luc,
Thank you! Your narcissus posted this forum are all beautiful, too ;)
-
Luc, it seems you cultivate these excellent flowering clumps outside. :o
Congratulations!
Gerd

Thx Gerd !
They are out in the garden all right, in a slightly raised crevice bed, since they've been there, they have survived -7 to -8° C, I have another N. romieuxii in the garden that has been there for over 10 years and has survived -12°C.
