Does anyone have an example of this unusual variant which occasionally gives a second flowering in the Autumn. I have contacted the National Collection for Laburnum's at Powis Castle(National Trust) with no luck but if rediscovered would be keen to have one.
The RHS has only a name with no other information and 'The Hillier Manual of tree's and shrubs' mentions it and appears to add an alternative variation name as 'Semperflorens'. Perhaps I should repeat this message in the Autumn where it might be a bit more 'obvious'.

in the meridional country where I live, we have sometimes a fall blooming on this species. But here it's due to weather conditions, as after a very dry summer, that can induces some flowering against the season...
