Title: Crocus caspius
Post by: Gerry Webster on February 09, 2008, 09:12:57 PM
During a period of illness  I lost my entire stock of C. caspius. I’m getting too old to start again from seed so does anyone have spare corms they would be willing to sell or  exchange? If exchange  I can offer:

C. laevigatus  ex CRO1012 -  A Ray Cobb collection; white (occasionally lilac) with heavy purple feathering. Alan Edwards gave this to me years ago  with the comment “the best form I have ever seen”.

C. niveus ex JCA5132, coll. Messinia, S of Kalamata. White.

C. niveus trade form, slightly larger than above. White

C. goulimyi ‘Mani White’

Sternbergia greuteriana (I think)

Sternbergia candida

Dominique & Viovaslui - Many thanks for your replies. I only lost C.caspius (which doesn't like getting too hot & dry) so this is the only species I wish to replace. Thanks again - Gerry
