Glorious Gardens of Argyll and Bute (http://www.gardens-of-argyll.co.uk/)  have wonderful gardens to visit all year - but from April to May there is the added attraction of the Rhododendron Festival (http://www.gardens-of-argyll.co.uk/festival.php)
