Hello friends.  I found this open when i got home from work tonight.
I was stopped in my tracks. I died and went to heaven!

Very beautiful. I had a tiny piece but I think it may have gone to iris heaven.

Hi Dirk. I would venture to say that is I. stolonifera (maybe Chocolate).  See my pic above,
and this from the Iris wiki

I have already had some doubts.
If somebody can call the differences between iris stolonifera and lineata. Does Iris stolonifera always form Stolonen? Till present none was still with this plant,

Dirk, in Brian Mathews book " The Iris" he says stolonifera has stolons but
no mention of them for lineata.  The stolonifera probably needs more run
than a small pot to make stolons.  Even some of mine in the ground do not
always put out long stolons.  Mathew says of I. darwasica that it is closely
allied to lineata and darwasica has small stolons.  But the info at that time (1981) was
limited and I think it could be revised now due to the collections of Jan Jilek.
