My first miniata hybrid to bloom this year is from seed from Felicity Weeden in Hermanus, South Africa. I haven't seen either of the parents in bloom, as far as I can recall.

The cross was [Foxy Lady x L35], and last year this plant produced four scapes in succession. I wonder if those 4 scape were just a fluke?

Looks nice!
Did you get four scapes from one plant? That's fabulous!
I have one plant in flower now but it isn't anything special. I can't even recall where it is from. It is from seed I picked when visiting either Madeira or South Africa some years ago. Looks like the wild type presumably.

Clivia nobilis in flower. This is the one I tried to give away but there were no takers.

Tony, I would love to have one but it is a bit difficult . . . . Does it set seed?
