Lilium canadense var immaculatum (scaling wanted)

Hi

I'm looking for the canada lily immaculatum after many ads in many place it seem that this variety is like an UFO we talk of it but never seen one ...

that is for a collection for the Montreal Botanical Garden.

Please help me find it

I can't help you but I'm curious because I couldn't find much information about this subspeccies.
I did found this link which shows that Lilium canadense is very diverse http://www.pacificbulbsociety.org/pbswiki/index.php/NorthAmericanLilium.
All are very nice though!

What does distinguish var immaculatum from the others except for the obvious yellow colour?

Fox in his book on lilies suggests that the varietal names of Lilium canadense are pointless as it is so variable in the wild.

Immaculatum is without spots,so plain yellow.

Sorry for the delay, the holly day are now finish ;)  No we can't use the name var immaculatum with L. canadense but there are so many difference in that species that we are still using some of them to make a difference between them. (color variation)
