seeds of Haemanthus deformis for swap
« on: April 18, 2014, 10:35:55 AM »
Hi all ,

I will have soon seeds of Haemanthus deformis for swap - the mother plants are grown from seeds (w.c.) from Ixopo ( Kwa Zulu Natal )
I prefer swap for other plants or seeds  or payment for my shipping costs ( they are high because I can send it only in a box ...if I send it in paddad envelopes so the seeds are destroyed )
Swapping only inside Europe -sorry - but my our custom here in Germany does not allowed importing plants from other continents
Thats only 43 seeds ...if anybody is interested so please send me a PM - first come - first served  :D

Sorry ...all seeds are gone

Best wishes
Hans

Wow, Hans , how attractive the fruits are - I did not know they would be so large.

Maggi , all those plants from this Amaryllidaceae ( Clivia ,Scadoxus,Haemanathus ) have such fruits ...maybe a adaption for distribution through birds ?

Happy Easter  :D

I only grow a few Clivia, Hans, so I am not familiar with the others.

Happy Easter to you and to dear Barbara !

Clivia seeds germinate while still attached to the mother plant.
