« on: July 03, 2012, 09:41:06 PM »
I now have two Dactylorhizas that have a lovely scent that is very similar to primroses or violets. Doesa nyone else have scented plants? What do yours smell of?

My pastell colored Dacty, shown on an image in the Dactylorhiza-thread is pleasantly fragrant of Vanilla.

Several of my old Dactylorhiza maculata were very nicely scented, then the lurgi got them.
At present I have a couple of Dactylorhiza fuchsii with a liquorice scent.

I also have a Dactylorhiza that smells of liquorice. I think it's a hybrid.

I'll post a photo tomorrow. Sadly this is my last fresh spike for this year  :'( :'(

sorry I forgot to post a photo

I have some late flowerers just flowering and some in bud. There are about 6 in a pot that used to have hardy Geranium. Two of them are scented
