Another brilliant show, some really nice plants on the show bench, my favourite off course was Cypripedium Ursel, perfection in my eyes.

Diane that was me chatting to Jean W. I thought she was doing really well. I think Jean is always just full of life, nothing will keep Jean  away from missing the shows are meeting up with her friends.

Cant imagine anyone finding Ian's conversation boring, maybe he was just deep in thought  ;D

To the person that made the date and prune cakes if there are any left can I come and pick them up they were gorgeous. I had two. I know that's being greedy  ;D

Captions to pic 31 - - The man in the middle -Peter Timoney -suggested 'a rose between two thorns' though the 'thorns' retaliated with 'an older man betwen two Youngs'.

He doesn't look very interested in what Ian's saying  :o
Pete's probably heard it all before, Diane! Either that or he is playing it cool to hide the fact that he had swiped my bit of coconut cake.

Maggi - " What HAVE you done Ian?"

Ian ( demonstrating ) - " But I only gave him the tiniest of karate chops!"

Great pictures Stan. Thank you for posting them all. 8)

Peter Timoney, the dozing man, suggests the following caption for the picture.

For goodness sake hit me again I can still hear him!

I think he's taking too long to decide who won that argument, and clearly Ian doesn't know the maxim "quit while you're ahead".

I've got one picture to add.  Stan covered most of the plants on show but this one caught my eye and I don't remember it in his report.  I could be wrong - memory is not reliable these days.

Paris polyphylla var. thibetica
Roma Fiddes, near Aberdeen in north East Scotland.
