I have question for you, Zvone... I also like taking my camera on hikes, and I've found that the color of blue sky is very hard to capture in pictures. Would you mind telling me what kind of camera lens you are using and if you are using any kind of filter (polarizing, etc.). I would very much appreciate it!

these are beautiful images, thank you for showing them to us. And I am glad to learn that you use an Ixus 40. I have a similar camera but maybe my hand is not as steady as yours. All the same, it encourages me to take more pictures of landscapes.
