A warm welcome to the Forum Zvone, from sunny New Zealand. :D Your garden has such lovely colour and clean lines, you have obviously enjoyed the creating of it and I know it gives you great pleasure.  I'm sure too that you will find much to interest you on this super Forum, about plants and 100 other related or quite different subjects.

I hope you are enjoying your Christmas Day, already over for us in New Zealand.

Hvala Rick!

Hvala za dobrodošlico in prijaznost. Tudi vam Vesel Božič in srečno Novo leto!

Vaša slovenščina je odlična (moja angleščina pa bolj slaba)!  Kje ste se je naučili?

I am glad, that you like my garden.

I live in Maribor (northeastern Slovenia) .

My garden is on southern hillside of wonderful mountain pasture Pohorje. I tried to place him kindly to natural place.

Best regards! Zvone

Welcome Zvone.
May I ask what the rock is?  Granite, Quartz, ?   You must have a large machine
to move them around.

Thank you John!

Thank you for Welkom!

Rocks are granitic. Of largest heavy also 4-5 T.
Yes, I have a large machine, but, without strong hands and good eyes - he doesn't go.
Of course, feeling must be in head for conformity.

It isn't light.

Hvala Rick!

Vaša slovenščina je odlična (moja angleščina pa bolj slaba)!  Kje ste se je naučili?

Best regards! Zvone

Ni je res.
Those were easy phrases to translate.  I only learned enough Slovenian to be able to translate and write letters to relatives there in the 1970's.  The Slovenian community here in America published Slovenian language workbooks that I studied.  The grammar is easy in some ways, and difficult in other ways.  Now, many of my relatives can speak English so it is not so important anymore.

If you are interested in Sempervivum species, take a look here:

She lives in Slovenia, too.

I am sure most of you multi-lingual forumists are just rolling your eyes.
The old joke that rings true:

What do you call someone who speaks three languages?
--- trilingual

What do you call someone who speaks two languages?
--- bilingual

What do you call someone who speaks just one language?
--- American

That's me!  ;D ;D ;D

Be valid! Damage, that "small" languages "disappear".

All will speak English (American) "tomorrow".
