I am really fascinated how variable crocus are!

Actually Crocus imperati is in flower also in my garden (together with the last dark Crocus laevigatus).

No crocuses in the garden yet, but two pots of Crocus korolkowii and one of Crocus vernus showing colour in the frame.

Cloudy, rainy. cool... but unusually warm for this time of year and a lot of crocuses comes up in pots - so last ay entries for going 2011

There are few more from biflorus group which started showing colored buds, but a litt5le too early for pictures

I had not heard of Augis bulbs before this year and decided to buy some Crocus and Frits.

There was a bargain 100 large corms of Crocus korolkowii for €10.00  I gave some to firends and planted the remainder in pots.  

The first two shots are of Crocus korolkowii from the SRGC Discussion Weekend in 2010 - 'Kiss of Spring' & 'Dark Throat'  The remaining shots are the unnamed from Augis - will certainly be ordering more bulbs this year.
