Geranium wallichianum open pollinated
« on: August 25, 2007, 03:30:09 PM »
I collected seeds of Geranium wallichianum today.

They are open pollinated but from seedlings in my own garden they come true from seed. The colours you will get are palest blue right throught to dark blue, veined and unveined. All will once mature give a spread of c1M c3feet. Despite 100s of flowers from June they arent invasive. I cut back mine today to make way for Colchicum byzantinus 'Innocence' growing under it. If I hadnt flowering would continue until the autumn.
