I have two forms of C. purpurea, one with a yellow cup and one that is fully purple.

I have two year seedlings of Calostemma luteum and I am absolutely EXCITED to see them bloom, I can't wait!  Does anyone else have this plant?

Yes ,that is a problem... but we can see the wonderful scenery and think of the flowers that live in those places.  For us this is half the pleasure of these races... we really enjoy seeing these on TV and guessing what flowers will be growing just out of sight !
