Lilium maculatum var dauricum
« on: August 13, 2007, 08:35:23 PM »
Some one I know is looking for the real Orange Lily Lilium maculatum var dauricum. It used to be used widely during 'Orange' marches on drums and flag poles. Many moon ago my great uncles grew it and supplied it to bands men and women along with Sweet William Dianthus sp.

I'll not go into the finer details of revelence for these flowers but I'm sure Google will tell all

I've got some of these from one of the AGS seed collecting expeditions - I forget which, China or Japan?
