Maggi are you saying those 'heavenly bodies' who hover over the mountains are WOMEN ::)

Many lovely plants there, thank you for the pictures!

My Trillium rivale are also well behind this - even in the mild NW of england. Same goes for Pleione Shantung 'Ducat' - at least a fortnight off flowering here even if the weather stays mild. However - I think its companion is mislabelled by the exhibitor. Surely this is Pleione Eiger, not Etna?

My pleasure, Art, it was a fun day.

Michael, that is terrible news, what a disappointment for you.

Sorry to hear that, Michael.  You showed some beauties on the forum last year.
My one T. rivale has appeared above the compost in its pot.  It has been in a covered cold frame all winter.  The foot or more of snow on the frame in the coldest weather must have protected it.

Sorry to hear that Michael. Like Roma I have some in pots in a frame which are now just popping through. I'm pretty sure the ones in unprotected fishbox troughs have had it though.
