Me neither David - anyone selling only on there ain't going to get a sale from me.
Steve - I may be able to help you out eventually but I don't plan to repot this summer.

There are some very good orchid sellers on ebay - and some very bad - but the good outnumber the bad in my experience. I've had consistently great Paphiopedilums from orchidfactory, for instance. I've heard that koolplants (Pleiones) are ok too, by repute.
These sellers are set up for ebay - in my experience again, it's the occasional sellers that mess up.

For South African bulbs, have you tried either Penrock or African Bulbs (Cameron McMaster), both based in South Africa

My issue with e-bay has nothing to do with individual sellers, I simply do not like or trust the whole e-bay culture. I'm not really a technophobe either, simply not interested in complying with another intrusive registration process and having to remember yet another password.

If the Boophone bulb was sold through e Bay someone is selling wild collected bulbs. How much should be charged for a Boophone that size if it came from cultivation?

EBay is good if you want something that you cannot just go and buy from your local garden centre such has a boophone bulb how many UK garden centre stock these.Buyers are protected by paypal as I have found out when I accidental purchased a fake watch and I got my money back through paypal in 28 days I have found that most Sellers are genuine and helpful.
