Folks, I remind you that the deadline for seed requests is 15th January .... only a couple of days away. If you have not yet made your seed request I suggest you do so TODAY!
If you have already entered your seed request online but have not received an email confirmation of that then I suggest you log back into the seed system NOW and check .... because in that case it sounds as though you have not followed the instructions to complete all the steps  in order to send your seed request through to the seed team and receive your request list email.
Even if you have nothing to pay, there are several steps needed after filling in all your numbers to complete the process. Each page of the seed system tells you whether or not there are further steps to take.... just follow the instructions.

Yep - seeds are being sent out now so get them ordered whilst you still can.

My seeds arrived on Tuesday - big thank you to the seed exchange team especially this year given the weather and postal chaos.

I was pleased to get most of my first choices (this was my first year as a donor).

I'd also like to say that I was delighted with the quantity in the packets.

My seed arrive today, Wednesday.  None of the postal problems from last season.

Thanks to all involved.  Simply the worlds best seed-ex.

Jamie

PS:  I would add that the seed being sent out this year and last as Iris darwasica is not this species.  Both years I've received seed of what looks to be a siberica or related.  I. darwasica is an aril, and this seed has none!

Hi Susan, that's the furthest distance I've heard from so far for this year's seeds arriving. The Seed Team weill be pleased to hear that.

You don't get much further than here anyway I reckon!    Oh, apart from Toolie of course, and Invercargill doesn't really count, being just up the road from the Antarctic and that probably doesn't have a lot of Scottish rockers.

I'll be rushing home to check the mail-box tonight! But I have a suspicion that ours may've been detoured via the Inspection Service :(

Nicole, I  checked to see if you had made your seed request online...  you did not complete the process! It was important to follow the instructions on each page, telling you that even if you had nothing to pay there were still steps for you to  follow to make sure your seed request was passed to the Seed Team. You did not do this!
I reminded of this need in my post  Reply #30 on: January 12, 2011, 02:56:49 PM

I will pass your seed request to the seed team now, but they may not be able to fulfill all your first choices at this stage.  :-X
