Facebook and Twitter are alien to me, so here is not so much a tweet as a squawk from  Aberdeen..........
This stage of the proceedings before a show are always the most stressful for the Show Secretaries....
It's raining and thereI have so far received fewer entries than I would like for the show tomorrow.......AARRGH!!
Off to breathe into a paper bag..... hope last minute arrivals will cheer me up!

Just done the tot-up of the entries  so far to give Ian the numbers of plants for the layout of the tables.... actually, doesn't look too bad at all... about the same as last year, I reckon, distributed through different classes, as might be expected after the odd season!

So, I was getting anxious for nothing... as usual... the SHOW WILL BE FAB!! ;D

There's always a ringleader in the naughty stakes, isn't there?
Are you a former pupil of St Trinian's, Gail? :D ( I am myself, as you might imagine! ::))

The standard of plants at the Aberdeen Show was very high and more Certificates of Merit were awarded this year than last. I managed to escape the kitchen for a short while and took a few photos of plants and people to give a flavour of the event. Thanks to everyone concerned who made the show a success (especially the “kitchen crew “ who put up with my teasing)

Graeme, thanks so much for the photos you took of the Aberdeen Show to give us a flavour of the occasion - familiar faces and some great plants - would love to know more about photo two  ::)

Robin,
I can't help out too much with my second photo except to say that the Certificate of Merit was awarded to Nick Boss for his silene acaulis. A blown up photo of the label at the top of the photo is below.
