Here is one of my Ismene Sulphur Queen bulbs flowering today. The beautiful dark yellow does not display in the photo.

A very sophisticated looking flower, I like the green-striped throat.  And some luscious looking clivias behind!

Thank you for the compliment. I notice that you like "anything with good scent". This flower fills a large room with a beautiful aroma. I bring her inside specially for that purpose.

Thank you David. It is the biggest flower of my 3 bulbs yet. They seem to grow bigger flowers as the bulb grows bigger. Has anyone noticed this before?

Mine flowered a month or so ago. The scent was quite strong and very pleasant - citrusy, maybe - I can't quite remember. Strong enough to waft in through the open door.
