Spoke too soon - some signs of life in the H.vaginata seed pot today! Later than expected though, and I still feel that keeping them too cool in summer was the reason for failure in 2007.

For some reason there has been a bit of a germination 'event' this week, with several Romulea suddenly showing as well. Perhaps the mild weather has encouraged top growth to pop up.
