Here is the first blooming, almost with me, for H. solandriflorum. I had it labelled with this name but I am not sure of the ID (fragrantissimum?). It is strongly scented and the fragrance fils the greenhouse.

Very, very nice.  Looks like an elegant little species, that is for sure.  Well done for flowering it, and good luck for confirming the name.  The shape appeals to me greatly, so much more delicate than so many of the species (not that I don't like the larger species as well!  ;))

Paul, it is not a  miniature or dwarf species. The flower stalk is about 50 cm long and the flower with the tube over 20 cm. Only the throath is greenish otherwise it is candid and, sorry if I repeat, strongly scented!

Sorry, my phrasing of "elegant little species" was incorrect.  I didn't actually think it was a miniature or dwarf, but my comment certainly read like that now that I look at it.  It still has a delicacy that the big "hybrid" types (and a few of the species) don't have, and perfume as well is a BIG plus.  I like that trumpet effect, almost lilium-like in appearance in your pic.  Very beautiful!

Here is another amazing blooming. I grow them in the same pot from over a decade. It should be H. x johnsonii
