Does anyone grow this species and get flowers ?
I grow it since 5 years, big bulbs and lot of bulbills, but NEVER got a single flower  :( >:( ???

I got three bulbs last spring, but until now only leaves. I hope to see some flowers in September.

I've got healthy bulbs of it growing myself, but nary a flower to show for it.  I grew them from seed a number of years ago and they multiply very well but don't produce flowers for me either.  Maybe I need to totally dry them in winter to stimulate flowering, which I think is what is needed for C. falcatus from memory?

So how did you treat it this year?  How big are the bulbs?  Did you dry it off or leave it growing?  I'm hoping for some pointers so I can go out and have a good talking to with my plants.  ;D

Maggy you're right... There was a problem : solved  ;)

Paul, The only thing I've chengerd is to keep the bulbs dry all the winter, in the green house.

Only the biggest bulb is flowering ( about 10 cm diam )

great that it worked. I had mine also real dry in winter and hope to see flowers this year - then you told us that the flowering one has a diameter of 10 cm - maybe I have to wait a bit longer.
