unusual flower colors

 Hi all ,

 in this time I have in my greenhouse some interesting colored flowers :

100648-0

100650-1

Gethyum atropurpureum

100652-2

100654-3

Lachenalia aloides var. quadricolor

 All this plants are not bougth on Ebay  ;D
 they are from nice forum friends  :D

Yes -it is real nice to have such color after two weeks of real cold and frosty wether ....the spring comes ( for us from northern hemispheres ) ...the days are a little bit longer !

Lovely Hans. I had too look up the Gethyum, hadn't heard of it before, what an interesting colour.

Great pictures Hans. 
Gethyum atropurpureum is also on this year's seedex (#1682) and I was delighted to get some seed 8).

I have received the Lachenalia in last year summer -so I have no expierience .
With the Gethyum I'm not shure ...maybe they are all the same clone

Unfortunately I probably don't have enough to split my portion of seed three ways Alberto, but it's also listed by JJA Seeds (http://www.jjaseeds.com/).

I think the right name is Lachenalia aloides var. quadricolor.
I have received seeds from Saunders in S.A, they are in flower now after 3 years and have many bulblets too,
it is an easy plant to grow.

thank you for correction - I have the name changed !

I have really no idea about Lachenalia - this bulbs are a present of a nice friends and so I have tried it to grow .
