Some seeds I want
« on: December 27, 2008, 07:39:31 AM »
Does anyone have seeds of these four species?

Cacalia delphiniifolia
Geranium aristatum
Geranium sinense
Lychnis cognata

I would love to swap for any of them.

Cheers,
James

Good luck James, I would love to find some Geranium Aristatum and Geranium sinense too.
Am hoping to get some Aristatum in the seed exchange, it is one of my selections.

I might have some G. aristatum seeds. I have never had seeds on my G. sinense.

Mark, do you know if Geranium phaeum var. hungaricum is much like G.Sinense?
I just found a picture of it and it is gorgeous.
I love the Phaeums but the only one I have seen locally is the G. Phaeum.

It's absolutely beautiful.
If you've got it flaunt it eh?
No wonder you don't get seeds, it must use itself up putting on that display.
Is the flower bigger than a phaeum?

I would say G. sinense is smaller and more delicate. You should also like G. delavayi, G. reflexum and pogonanthum

Yes, I am sure you are right from what I have seen.
Do you happen to have pics of the three you mentioned?
I found some with google but your pics of G. Sinense are much nicer than the ones I found

Helen, there aren't quite as many as I thought, thought there are a few scattered about.... http://www.srgc.org.uk/smf/index.php?topic=1925.msg46957;topicseen#msg46957   this one is quite good but I don't know if it has the ones you're looking for, but you'll enjoy the search anyhow, as you say!  8)

Maggi, I don't think you realize what you have done. ( or do you) ;D
I had no idea pelargoniums came in so many different shapes and colours.
The tricolour is amazing.
Now I have to start a new list and it is your fault!! :o
